Hi guys! We're not doing good because of the 2 typhoons that hit us. But that doesn't mean our lives are over. I know my fellow Filipinos will be able to overcome this. So let's not waste our time and check out the stuffs that happened for the week of September 26, 2011:
- Rumor has spread over the social networking giant Facebook, that it will start charging users after the changes made to improve its layout. This is definitely NOT true.
- After the numerous changes from Facebook, social networking rival Google+ increased its user base by up to 30%. I really think the changes from Facebook cause users to try out Google+.
- Mobile giant Nokia launched a global contest to promote their latest Symbian Belle smartphones. They're giving away 1 Symbian Belle each day for 20 days.
- PC manufacturer Dell wants to increase its Inspiron sales locally by adding freebies with every units purchased.
- Another tablet has been released, but this time it came from the e-commerce giant Amazon. Kindle Fire wants a piece of iPad's dominant market.
- Earn money by taking pictures or videos using crowdmug. Not sure though if this iOS app is supported locally.
- Want a digicam and a video camcorder for the price of 1? YugaDeals gave an amazing deal by offering Agfa Eclipse Explorer and Agfa Precisa for only P5,999.
- Having a hard time cooking in your kitchen? Lifehacker's Daily App Deals featured KitchenPad Timer (iOS) that allows you to set separate timers for each burner on the stove.
- And telecom giant Smart Communications launched the Pixel Galaxy Promo. You can win 1 of 10 Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 or Samsung E1080 instantly.
So their you have it folks. Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend. Feel free to comment or make a suggestion to my blog. =)
